Nipun Lakshay

NIPUN Lakshya (National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy) is a mission initiated by the Government of India to improve the quality of primary education across the country. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is actively implementing this mission to enhance the foundational skills of students, particularly in reading and mathematics.

The primary goal of the NIPUN mission is to ensure that all children up to Grade 3 achieve proficiency in basic language and numeracy skills. To achieve this, Kendriya Vidyalayas are taking several steps:

Improving Reading and Numeracy Skills: Various teaching methods and techniques are being employed to help children develop reading comprehension and basic mathematical skills.

Teacher Training: Teachers are being specially trained to provide more effective instruction and support to meet the NIPUN goals.

Regular Assessment: The progress of students is regularly evaluated to ensure their skills are improving, and additional support is provided when necessary.

Through these efforts, Kendriya Vidyalayas are committed to achieving the NIPUN objectives, strengthening the educational foundation of children, and preparing them for better academic performance in the future.
